A native New Yorker, Anabelle's make-up career developed through various opportunities in the cosmetics industry. A graduate of Hofstra University in 1992, she assisted the Beauty and Fashion Manager of Ladies' Home Journal Magazine. In 1997, she moved on to Lancôme as Coordinator to the Associate Vice President of skincare marketing. Simultaneously, she studied make-up at Manhattan’s Learning Institute for Beauty Sciences.

In 1999, she embarked on a career as Make-up Artist with the Laura Geller Make-up Studio in Manhattan. She rose to become one of Laura's top artists for prestigious weddings and events. The latter included fashion shows, publicity events for Playboy magazine, and talk-show host Montel Williams' make-over show. In addition, she assisted Laura Geller with her QVC home-shopping shows, which were hugely successful.

In June 2003, Anabelle founded her own freelance make-up business Anabelle Make-up. She continues to establish a loyal following of brides, socialites and photographers. She is a Consulting Make-up Artist to Lancôme’s Education Department and National Artistic Director in the production of training videos.
